Our experience with Indie Campers was unfortunately disastrous. We rented a vehicle in Sydney that had to be exchanged immediately due to a serious technical defect (incorrectly installed battery, toxic gas leakage).

Booked a camper for 32 days, The camper was then changed by Indie due to that one not being available. The difference of 800 Euros still hasn't been refunded

Warning: Never use independent campers. This company relies on scamming users, making them pay for literally imaginary damages or delivering non-functioning vans that users have to repair by paying the costs in advance and then denying any reimbursement. Beware, it is a scam!!!

We had the worst vacation ever with an RV that was unprepared, poorly maintained, and nearly exploded after a propane leak

despite the website stating that they offer vehicle pickup and delivery 24/7/365, it's a lie

Here’s the worst part.. a tiny little bang on the bumper that we apparently are responsible for, resulted in indie campers charging us over $2000! We could have bought our own campervan for that! In what world would that cost $2000??

We spent over $3,000 for three nights of misery. This company is a scam. They will try to take every dollar they can from you. If you still decide to rent from them, STAY FOR THE INSPECTION AT DROP-OFF to avoid being ripped off. Take pictures and videos of everything, or you'll regret it.
